KATHERINE WOLKOFF

Searching for other photographers that use water and people in different ways in their work I found Katherine Wolkoff's image on Purpose Online Magazine. This image suggests so many things the lack of movement in the water suggests the people have been under there a fair few seconds probably simply holding their breaths. But the image itself conjures up ideas of mass drowning and even babies in the womb. This image makes me think of so many things, it would be interesting to experiment with the differences between the emotions of two of the same treatment methods used in two separate locations... one may evoke stronger feelings than the other and it may effect women or men differently, I want to explore this idea.
